Weather Phuket lies 8 degrees north of the equator,
There are two distinct seasons.
The "green season" begins in
May and lasts till October, during which the monsoon blows from the southwest.
Fortunately being blessed with
mild weather Phuket does not experience cyclones or typhoons and the weather in
this season is often pleasant with some rainfall.
